​Anita De Gruchy: (Owner and Manager) On leaving school I qualified as a dental assistant, but my interest in improving the quality of a persons life through treatment became more than a hobby. Whilst living in Australia for 18 years I began my Beauty Therapist training in 1991. I studied at the Nature Care College of Naturopathic and Traditional Medicine in Sydney, Australia, for 5 years. Here I received Diploma's in Reflexology, Sports Therapies, Trigger Point Therapy, Aromatherapy, Lymphatic Drainage, Massage and Remedial Therapies. I also worked with a Chiropractor for 3 years to gain experience of related injuries and back strain. This experience also gave me good insight into creating a well established and respectable business with quality treatments and cleanliness at its core. I returned to Jersey to be closer to my family in 1998 and started my business in 1999. The award winning salon, Health and Beauty Within Ltd, has been successfully running from the same location in Maufant since then. We have warm, friendly and loyal regular customers and we are building year on year with new clients deciding to come back again and again. We pride ourselves on being professional, personable, friendly and welcoming; our small team and clients are a little community in themselves.  So please come and join us.
